Cooperation between RASt and ODW (USA)

RASt launches a project for international monitoring and comparison of openness of official statistical information in Russia and the countries within its scope of interests. Those invited to collaborate include government agencies in the Russian Federation, international organizations, potential sponsors, as well as interested non-governmental organizations of third countries, in particular, the US non-governmental organization Open Data Watch (ODW). In his letter, Open Data Watch Managing Director Dr. Misha Belkindas confirmed the interest in working together on the implementation of the principles of open data in national statistical systems. In particular, Dr. Belkindas indicated that the ODW is interested in joint research of open data in the Russian Federation, its regions and neighboring countries.
